DJ First Class is a Chicago-based media maven and a trusted voice in music. Born into a family of singers and musicians, his love for music dates back to an early age. As an avid learner and practitioner of his craft, he taught himself how to DJ in his college dorm room at Western Illinois University, where he quickly gained notoriety as the resident DJ for an array of campus organizations and local businesses.
Since signing to independent record label Billionaire Minds Build Brands in 2013 (now serving as Co-Owner), First Class has remained at the nexus of music and advertising. When he’s not releasing mixtapes, he’s curating playlists, writing music related op-eds for noteworthy brands, and helping to develop emerging talent.
